Bridgerton has returned to Netflix with millions worldwide expected to tune in for one of the streaming services most popular ever shows. One thing critics had noted in their reviews before the official release was a massive cut back in the amount of sex scenes compared to season one.
He added that many sex scenes "wouldn’t have made sense for the characters" at the centre of season two. One viewer said: "I’m so glad Bridgerton learned u don’t need to shove in sex scenes,,,like JESUS the longing glances and the whispering and hand touches are so much better." Another added: "Bridgerton season 2 toning down the sex scenes for more pining and sexual tension was so right of them. Daphne and Simon touching hands was 100 times more memorable than any of the sex scenes."
