It is 10 a.m. on a Wednesday in Seoul when Kep1er log onto Zoom in late January. Even when their screen is still black, you can hear their laughs filling the space as they enter the room. After a few polite greetings and some shuffling of chairs, they appear on screen — or, almost. Two of the members, Hikaru and Dayeon, are out of frame. Aiding Yujin in her leadership role is co-leader Mashiro, hailing from Japan’s capital city.
