Podcast host Joe Rogan has said he will try to 'balance out' the opinions expressed on his show following controversy around it spreading misinformation about Covid-19

Podcast host Joe Rogan has said he will try to "balance out" the opinions expressed on his show following controversy around it spreading misinformation about Covid-19.

He apologised if he offended anyone and added that he "was not trying to promote misinformation" and said he would "try harder to get people with differing opinions" immediately after those with controversial opinions who appear. His pledge comes after Spotify boss Daniel Ek issued a statement on Sunday to say the platform is working to add a content advisory to any podcast episode that includes a discussion about Covid-19.

Last week, musicians Neil Young and Joni Mitchell both withdrew their music from Spotify in protest, with Young citing Joe Rogan's "false information about vaccines" as a reason.

Americans trust Joe Rogan more than Anthony Fauci. Fauci has lied repeatedly.

Worried about his $100m

In other words people won't be able to speak freely in his show anymore

He's completely balanced in his views and will admit it when wrong. Know any politician like that? Not many. Try listening to it.

It's Amazing watching all WOKE go into meltdown haha

Maybe rte should try the same

Will RTE do the same I wonder? All through the pandemic, alternative views were not welcomed on the national broadcaster..

Pathetic.

Extremely misleading headline there from government TV.

I', pro vax and and from the research ivermectin for covid is ineffective but rte using this phrase plays into the hands of the conspiracy theorists as the medicine is widely used on humans as well 'an anti-parasitic medicine used mainly on horses'

Credit where it's due his statement was good. Hopefully he balances the discussion now with people opposed to the contrarian doctors he has had on recently

Brain damaged homunculus podcaster nah

RTÉ should consider looking closer to home & looking at its own staff spreading misinformation about covid

No he just said there is a disclaimer at the beginning of certain podcasts. He has always interviewed opposing views and ideas . Just have to say he will have a disclaimer.

This is the way an adult responds. Neil young threw the toys out of the pram.

Rte is truly fake news

He said more then that which made sense and that should be the end of it.

News media should try the same 🤪🤪🤪

He had the trump concoction of drugs on hand in case he got covid which he did, ok for those with money eh

RTE has spread more misinformation than Joe Rogan’s podcast ever has.
