The podcast focuses not only on magic, witchery, and sorcery — but, the political and cultural statements it makes are the foundations of witchcraft, which is to bring change and to advocate for righteousness in the world.
The main reason why I STAN this podcast is because it’s about a woman’s journey in acknowledging the power that lies within herself. Whether it’sor not, we all have a passion that burns bright within, lit by our ancestors and family members who inspire us to be the best we can. This podcast focuses on how we can embrace that light and use it to our advantage — magical or not — but, I’m super happy it is.
Ancestral work is a major part of magic work. Spirits who are related to us by blood give us power and guidance . Jenna’s “raw magic” from her family ignites her magic. Jenna calls upon her ancestors to ward off the witches in the last episode and comes to terms with the fact that her spirit guides were guiding her the whole way in finding her place in the world — which was to make her aware of her power.
