RTE Late Late Show viewers delighted after show's birthday bash for Bob Geldof

Ryan Tubridy hosted a booming 70th birthday party for Bob Geldof live on the Late Late Show on Friday night.The special show chronicled Bob’s life achievements from his stellar career with The Boomtown Rats to Live Aid, Band Aid and beyond.

The Chair of the Elders and former Úachtaran na hEireann Mary Robinson spoke about her relationship with Bob, his vital role as a humanitarian and his well-known powers of persuasion.
