Fans of The Chase were furious on Tuesday evening as they watched, what they deemed, the ‘worst ending to a show ever’.
Through the various rounds, the Chaser proved too smart to outfox – with Mark, Rhom and Rebekah each caught out by 61-year-old Shaun. But perhaps nerves caught up with the retired customer assistant as she failed to answer many questions for the final round – getting just five correct answers. Applauding his challenger, despite her loss, Shaun said: "You were let down my Rhom and Mark who should've stuck to the middle and it could've been a completely different outcome.Viewers tuning in to the ITV show were dismayed at the abysmal performance by the team and took to Twitter to rage at the poor episode.Another exclaimed: “Only caught the last 5 minutes...Missed a classic ...not. #thechase.
