Fair City’s Rodrigo Ternevoy revealed a stunt double was on hand during some filming of the soap’s domestic abuse storyline as he was still recovering from surgery after being struck down with sepsis.
The Brazilian spent seven weeks in hospital after contracting the potentially deadly infection, whilst on a trip to Rio de Janeiro. “I was still recovering from a surgery and RTE made sure we had a stunt person on set to make sure I was safe.” “I didn’t have a lot of energy left to watch a movie or to have a long conversation with my husband about how my day went. I felt exhausted.”
