The six-year-old has said he's 'really surprised and really happy' with the new project

Late Late Toy Show star Adam King is set to become the first Irish superhero that uses a wheelchair in an up and coming kids show.

"When Adam came on I saw every child in Adam, in terms of the aspirational aspects of what you can achieve when you're six years old everything's possible." Speaking on Ireland AM, David said: "This project has been such a labour of love for all of us, for our whole family, for all of the team." "To be the first animated hero as a wheelchair user from Ireland, it's real breaking the glass ceiling kind of stuff. So we're just so proud", he said.
