Great to hear our country is at the forefront of developing a Vaccine. Well done to all the people involved in the research. Makes me feel extremely proud to be British!

The last rushed vaccine was for H1N1 swine flu in 2009. Compensation of £60 million has so far been awarded to those who suffered brain damage caused by the vaccine.

Far too early, let's hope the immune response includes t cells

this is an important step in the right direction

Anyone would think that it has already been produced, given the speed that it has been 'developed', tested and assessed as safe.

This is an absolute scandal. How can they report its ‘safe’? 70% had side effects that required medication. And what about longer term effects?

Here we go 👀👀👀

Super-duper

We don't know is it 'safe' at this point. It is presumed safe - we won't know if it is actually safe for years.

Well done all involved. It does make me wonder why they can’t find a cancer cure as fast as they have made this cure 🤔

How on earth can it be deemed safe?

First time gene therapy has been used in a vaccine.

'Safe', after a few months research/trial. We've seen some horrific results in history of treatments considered safe in short term, and lethal in long term - and this is something 'they' want to roll out globally, as near to every person on Earth that they can.

Great news in a world of gloom ! Well done to all involved great step forward COVIDー19 wewillbeatit

but for how long

Information provided by 'Oxford University' (sounds official) & it's promoted by Mainstream Media (who NEVER lie) so it MUST be true! 🙄

The UK leading the world as usual!!🇬🇧🇬🇧

Wonder why the AstraZeneca share price dipped as soon as this news is announced?

Still early days. For now, social distancing remains the primary defence against COVID19.

There using the American scale for pricing. 900% to the United States for purchase.

Load of pish. Developing a safe vaccine can take up to 12 years, this is clearly fake news. I'd like to see what the longterm effects from that one will be. BaneJevticBane totito
