Ben Shephard returned to present Good Morning Britain alongside Susanna Reid this morning but moments on into the show, she was left unimpressed after he took a joking swipe at his wife, Annie.

Good Morning Britain saw Ben Shephard at the helm with his co-host Susanna Reid on today’s instalment of the ITV breakfast programme as Piers Morgan was absent from the line-up. Tipping Point star Ben about a selfie he had posted with his wife Annie on Instagram, but when the host joked the photo he had posted was “minging”, Susanna soon called him out on his comment. Last night marked the return of the Premier League and as a well-known football fan, Ben only saw it right to mark the occasion.
