EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, Doctor Who’s Jodie Whittaker, David Attenborough, Brian Cox, Ed Balls, Sergio Aguero, Liam Payne, Mabel and a host of musical stars to help teach BBCBitesize

Sir David Attenborough, Danny Dyer and Jodie Whittaker are among the celebrity supply teachers who will be helping the BBC educate the nation's schoolchildren during the coronavirus lockdown.

Launched on the day children were due to return to school, the scheme offers 14 weeks of curriculum-based learning."We said the BBC would be there for people through this crisis and we meant it," said Alice Webb, director of BBC Children's and Education. UK schools have been closed to all but vulnerable children and those of key workers since 20 March to curb the spread of Covid-19, and the two-week Easter holiday has just finished.

bbcbitesize So basically the UKLabour are home schooling our kids

bbcbitesize BBC you are on your last legs with my family as it is, one more pro left anti right piece and I'm cancelling your bullshit tax. Your just lucky I have crazy kids and I'm tired most of the time or I would have done it already.

bbcbitesize No thanks

bbcbitesize Most importantly how much is the BBC paying these “celebs” from the public paying licence holders?

bbcbitesize We don’t need ‘stars’ to teach us anything except how to shut up.

bbcbitesize Good job Jimmy Savile isn’t around any more.

bbcbitesize

bbcbitesize Joking, right?

bbcbitesize bbc kids lockdown schedule 9am learn diy skills jim'll fix it 9.30 paint your room with rolf harris 10.00 its a cleebrity knock one out with stuart hall 10.30 my gang. with gary glitter

bbcbitesize home schooling not to common purpose standards? not left wing enough?

bbcbitesize My daughter who missed her GCSEs worked hard. If my son had relied upon doing exams it would’ve been a disaster, he relies upon pulling it off in tests. He knows everything but is minimalistic. Please help me via celebrities and bite size that he needs to work still right now 🙏

bbcbitesize I wouldn't have anyone of them near my kids. Stay away from our kids.

bbcbitesize I think our kids should be teaching them.

bbcbitesize Why would you want ‘actors’ to teach your kids anything?!? Only stupid people will think this is a good idea

bbcbitesize Defund the BBC.

bbcbitesize Maybe if you stretched your imaginations far enough you would be able to conceive the possibility that there may be audience that you are also obligated to service which live outside the borders of North London. 🤔

bbcbitesize So, what you’re saying is that actors make better teachers than teachers? This is dumb, even for you.

bbcbitesize Sergio Aguero can teach PE and sport but the rest of them I do not trust. FFS...Ed Balls? We'll stick to the CGP Key Stage books thank you.

bbcbitesize Where can I find the videos? I can see the Maths/English but no Celeb videos?!

bbcbitesize Woah! With schools closed, the left are scrabbling to find new indoctrination vectors.

bbcbitesize Danny Dyer teaching history .😂😂😂😂😂new depth of idiocracy . Well done BBC . 🤡🤡🤡🤡

bbcbitesize You know I’m pretty sure that there are some really fantastic, engaging, knowledgeable real teachers in this country that you could have used. It is depressing and boring that practically every TV programme has to be fronted by some vacuous ‘celebrity’. Think outside the box!

bbcbitesize No thanks

bbcbitesize Lessons will mainly focus on Climate Change, Climate Change, the rise and popularity of Socialism, Climate Change and the history of the evil Tory party and their total neglect of our NHS.

bbcbitesize Bring back Jonny Ball

bbcbitesize No chance I'm letting those melts lecture my kids 🤭

bbcbitesize Don't let your children sit in front of any of this lot. THEY ARE NOT TEACHERS. THIS IS NOT THE CURRICULUM.THESE ARE ACTORS,

bbcbitesize That’s exactly what we need - more celebrities telling ordinary people what to think. The bbc are just the cultural wing of the illiberal left.

bbcbitesize Nah you’re alright.

bbcbitesize Go on then lets see them plan 4 seeks of lessons that are informative and catch the children's attention. Mark and grade all that work and give feed back. Oh and stick to facts not your opinion.

bbcbitesize Bloody Danny Dyer he dont know which way is up. Rather have me kids taught by the family dog

bbcbitesize Stick to the singing and dancing.

bbcbitesize All of them right up the lefty bias BBC street. defundthebbc BBCbias

bbcbitesize Will not be watching that pile of left-wing clowns

bbcbitesize no thanks id rather drink bleach

bbcbitesize

bbcbitesize Good idea, can’t leave those gammons to educate their own. Without public sector teachers to teach them bien pensant liberal ideas, this lockdown is creating a whole new generation of Tory voters.

bbcbitesize Good grief.. No thankyou.

bbcbitesize Danny Dyer! Really lol 😂

bbcbitesize Please no readings of The fault in our stars. The thought of having to watch Danny Dyer crying again is fucking excruciating. eastenders
