FURIOUS pensioner, Maureen, attacked the BBC on The Jeremy Vine show after the broadcaster announced yesterday it would be raising the TV licence fee from £154.50 to £157.50 on April 1, 2020.

Speaking on The Jeremy Vine show, Maureen said: “I think I’m going to be imprisoned because I paid from 1960 and then I had a contract that I wouldn’t pay after 75.“The difference is the money that I saved on the licence fee I’ve spent on insurance policies for my funeral.
