.Lin_Manuel Miranda confirms that the 'Hamilton' (HamiltonMusical) movie will feature the entire original cast:

The hit Broadway musical chronicles the life of immigrant and founding father Alexander Hamilton via hip-hop- and show tune-infused numbers, which has mounted sweeping success as a soundtrack. The show itself has earned critical acclaim, including Tony and Grammy awards.

According to Miranda, the film would be less of an adaptation and more of a medley of footage from recorded stage performances.The original cast consists of Miranda as Alexander Hamilton, Leslie Odom Jr. as Aaron Burr, Phillipa Soo as Eliza Hamilton, Jonathan Groff as King George III and Daveed Diggs as Marquis de Lafayette/Thomas Jefferson. Also featured in the original lineup is Christopher Jackson, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Okieriete Onaodowan, Anthony Ramos and Jasmine Cephas Jones.
