| On Monday, Australian actor Russell Crowe had used his platform at the Golden Globes to call for greater climate change action. While on Tuesday, Piers Morgan told Liberal MP Craig Kelly to "wake up" on climate change in a car crash interview on British television.

The Good Morning Britain host called Mr Kelly "disgraceful" when he refused to link the bushfire crisis to climate change. Mr Smith said the “global warming alarmists” need to stop “using the crisis to score points”.
