THE Employees Provident Fund today apologised to a cancer-stricken contributor and her family over its officers making the bedridden woman show up at its Johor Baru office to withdraw funds to pay for her treatment. “The EPF is deeply saddened and regretted the incident that went viral on social media. Hopefully after this incident, the officers should be more sensitive to clients and not seat-ridden. The seat ridden should be approaching the bed-ridden and not the other way round.
