Former Britain's Got Talent child stars Bars and Melody have announced they have split up, to the disappointment of their fans. The duo, friends Leondre Devries and Charlie Lenehan, announced their final tour to their million followers on Instagram with a video in which they chatted about their journey.
They also posted a second video, announcing the dates of their final tour and sharing clips of their 10 years as performers. “It’s time for one last adventure together,” Charlie said. Their followers were quick to comment, with one writing: “I literally cried watching this. Uou guys helped me go through primary school. I remember when I saw your performance on BGT. Leo mentioned that he was bullied at school. I had the same experience. I listened to you, crying into my pillow, feeling understood by someone who had experienced what I had, and who also loved music as much.”
The popular duo were first seen on Britain’s Got Talent in 2014, when they went to the semi finals of the talent show after Simon Cowell pressed his Golden Buzzer. They got as far as the final, but lost to boy band Collabro.
