In addition to settling into their new surroundings, the team hit the practice floor in matching American flag-themed leotards.
Biles, making her third Olympic appearance, gave a glimpse into the practice session with Instagram photos in which she used three French flag emojis as the caption. She was met with a flood of well-wishes from fans, former Team USA gymnasts, including McKayla Maroney, and fellow Olympians.To date, 83 female gymnasts have represented the United States, with a total of 48 Olympic medals –28 of which are gold — across various events.
