The Last Breath will be available in theaters and on-demand starting July 26. It joins this year’s collection of shark attack-related features, includingIn addition to Sands as Levi, the upcoming movie also stars Kim Spearman as Sam, Jack Parr as Noah, Alex Arnold as Brett, Erin Mullen as Riley, Arlo Carter as Logan, Maxime Durand as Brian, and Hayden Grech as Jimmy.
The film’s producers are Andrew Prendergast and Chris Reed. Executive producers are Will Machin, Sam Parker, Michael Yates, Blair Ward, Anders Erdén, Eric Harbert, Sara Shaak, Matthew Smith Lyons, Cloé Garbay, and Bastien Sirodot. “We’ve seen shark movies before, but not in this setting, and not with this set of characters. While being scary, bloody, and claustrophobic, I think the film also has a lot of heart, and it gives you permission to smile and laugh in between the scares. It’s an entertaining film on many levels,” said director Hedén in a statement.
