"It seems like Tommy Shelby wasn't finished with me…" Murphy told Netflix. "It is very gratifying to be recollaborating with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the film version of Peaky Blinders. This is one for the fans." — Netflix June 4, 2024 Filming is set to take place in September 2024 in Birmingham, England, and the movie is expected to be released sometime in 2025
