Increase in number of people in emergency accommodation

The Department of Housing says there was a decrease of 23 families and 47 children in comparison to September's figures.

It continued: "There were 213 fewer presentations of families to homeless services in the Dublin region in first nine months of the year in comparison with 2018." Also published this evening was the department’s quarterly report on homelessness. It shows a continued increase in the number of exits from homelessness.

The Official Winter Rough Sleeper Count, which was carried out on the night of 26 November into the morning of 27 November 2019, shows a 41% decrease on winter 2018.

ireland has a higher homeless ratio than countries like america , france , spain , poland , and people still vote in the posh do gooders twats of fine gael , the irish electorate has no shame , they're responsible for this

LeoVaradkar you could purchase the housing stock on rather than waiting on builders to build Part V homes! You won’t as it will drive prices up but you are destroying lives and causing mental illness etc to people affected including children

LeoVaradkar you did not get 1 seat in recent elections - FineGael time to call snap election. On your watch FineGael disgraceful
