Strictly Come Dancing fans call show a 'fix' after technical glitch stops them from voting

But fuming viewers have flocked to social media to claim that Alex was only in the bottom two due to the glitch - insisting it had been fixed against her.

Another seethed: "When I tried to vote last night it said I'd reached the max number of votes. I hadn't voted!"I didn't bother to try because I didn't think it'd work. Then tonight they say 'sorry for the glitch but it didn't affect the result'. IT DID!!"vote? I wonder who all those online 'error' messages have been voting for!"

While some couldn't get on to vote, others were receiving messages saying they had already used their votes when they hadn't. Voting was supposed to close at 8.40pm but following the glitch, an update was issued on the show's official Twitter account, revealing the voting time had been extended to 9pm.
