Three specific examples of boys aged between 15 to 17 being told to touch their genitalia at the Lost City music festival are being scrutinised in a NSW Police watchdog inquiry | AngusGthompson

A police officer strip searching a child at a Sydney under-age music festival this year told the boy to "hold your dick, lift your balls up and show me your gooch" in one of at least 25 potentially illegal searches on the day.

The senior NSW Police officer acting as the event commander at the event told the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission the number of attendees strip searched was an "insignificant number" in the context to the 10,000-strong crowd at the festival. LECC chief commissioner Michael Adams, QC, replied, "Yes, but it's not part of their ordinary duties to watch naked young people be searched by police."

"I felt like I just done something wrong but like, I’m just trying to go to a music festival," he said.

AngusGthompson What’s the cost benefit of these searches. You might catch a kid with a small amount of drugs but for those that don’t have anything all future trust is gone.

AngusGthompson So gross, makes me sick to my stomach

AngusGthompson Turns the cops on. All those nice boys.

AngusGthompson Because cops can’t be trusted and there’s no oversight or anyone holding them accountable.

AngusGthompson Scrotum scrutinization. Rolls off the tongue, eh? Poor little fellas! Is it a ‘watchdog’ enquiry because sniffer dogs were there? 😂 God the trials and tribulations of carrying pills these days! You go Angus! Get to the bottom of it!

AngusGthompson It's because those that call themselves nswpolice officers are filthy grubs.

AngusGthompson Australia make my Day ? touch genitalia at the lost city music Festival .....LOL (not mustrubation) , .That better Parents sleep in piece ?

AngusGthompson Weird, they should be monitoring behaviour. Not random pervy searches.

AngusGthompson Everyone will be throwing lawsuits in soon.

AngusGthompson All they had to do was wait. We all know boys aged between 15 and 17 can't go more than about 15 minutes without touching their genitalia...

AngusGthompson Looking for new career paths with impunity as Catholic Priests.

AngusGthompson Orders from Herr(s) Fuller and Morrison

AngusGthompson they weren't expecting to have their genitals played with until after the concert

AngusGthompson Does this reflect the level of training of NSW Police?

Man 'critical' after apparent overdose at Ballarat festival, another dies at NSW eventOne man is in hospital and another has died after apparent overdoses at separate music festivals What a pity this poor, deceased young man wasn’t strip searched and his MDMA, GBH, cocaine and whatever else he had found and confiscated. He’d probably be alive. And if you think pill testing would’ve helped, you’re wrong. He wouldn’t have bothered with to test his drugs. 15 people die every day in Australia due to alcohol consumption. Even though these deaths are tragic, why not express outrage about western society’s ignorance? People die of drug overdoses everywhere. Why are music festivals singled out? If he died in a library or in a cinema or in a bar would we point that out?
