After its world premiere at the 2019 Hot Docs Festival in Toronto, this Canadian documentary is landing on Crave in line with World Aids Day. The film—based on Richard McKay’s book—tells the story of the Canadian flight attendant who became known as Patient Zero, and was subsequently vilified for supposedly spreading AIDS in North America. The documentary debunks the myth surrounding the man and also depicts how the AIDS crisis rocked the LGBTQ community.
