The studio intends on putting a new spin on the 1993 Andrew Davis-directed action classic, an exhilarating action film based on the 1963 TV series that starred David Janssen as Kimble and Barry Morse as Gerard. The film earned seven Oscar nominations including Best Picture, with Tommy Lee winning for Best Supporting Actor for playing the dogged U.S. marshal Samuel Gerard who chased Harrison Ford’s Dr. Richard Kimble.

. Hughes is exec producing the series, which stars Ethan Hawke. He is repped by CAA and Bloom Hergott. Tucker is Verve.

Surprised they are remaking this one - kinda wonder why

Soon Hollywood is going to make a movie about Hollywood making a remake of a movie. And 10 years later they'll make a remake of it.

Hugh Jackman for Kimble and Jon Hamm for Gerard. 'Nuff said.

This will never touch the greatness of the 1993 film. When is Hollywood gonna invest in fresh material?

Why? Why a remake of a really good movie? Money thats way. If it goes woke it will flop

Make a new film. Stop remaking.
