X Factor: Celebrity's Dermot announces shock U-turn as Simon Cowell retracts wildcard

Dermot O'Leary has announced a shock U-turn decision that there will no longer be a wildcard act re-joining the Celebrity X Factor for the competition's final.

"This has been very disappointing series, celebrities is a good idea, and I hope it comes back next year with the original as well." Another angry viewer shared: "I think what has made Celebrity X Factor so bad is how clumsy it all is. Switching and swapping rules left right and centre."
