KUALA LUMPUR: National Film Development Corporation (Finas) chairman Ahmad Idham Ahmad Nadzri has clarified his suggestion to regulate digital content on streaming platforms such as Netflix.

He said he had only proposed for a collaboration between Finas and National Council of Women's Organisations to organise a forum or seminar to debate the issue in the context to strengthen digital content in the future.

His proposal attracted criticism after he reportedly urged the government to censor digital contents of popular streaming platforms following complaints from parents.
