Wee had garnered 22,254 votes against his closest rival, Pakatan Harapan’s Karmain Sardini who only managed to claim 8,871 votes.
Gerakan candidate Wendy Subramaniam is in third spot with 1,484 votes while Berjasa’s Datuk Dr Badhrulhisham Abd Aziz had 759 votes. Independent candidates Dr Ang Chuan Lock and Faridah Aryani Abdul Ghaffar only managed to garner 310 and 26 votes, respectively.
