Keri Elmsly has built a career around producing incredible visual/art/design/tech installations for everyone from Jay-Z’s world tour to Coachella’s main stage to the first-ever live for the Velvet Underground’s John Cale. As the former chief creative officer of design studio Second Story, she drove the creative vision of large-scale, immersive environments for global brands.
Luckily, a move to the UK with her family propelled Elmsly into London’s vibrant music and subculture scene. As a teenager, she spent every weekend going to cool shows. “This was the early days of acid house and late post-punk culture with a huge mishmash of styles and tastes converging in warehouse parties and festivals,” she says.
