WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump's son Eric Trump did not find much entertainment value in the first open hearing in the impeachment inquiry into allegations against his father. The tweet from the Trump Organization's executive vice president came as William Taylor, the top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine, testified that there had been a direct"quid pro quo" between military aid to Ukraine and the opening of investigations that stood to be politically beneficial to the president.
"And you are an idiot," former Clinton White House Press Secretary Joe Lockhart tweeted in response. "This sham hearing is not only boring, it is a colossal waste of taxpayer time & money," said White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham in a tweet.
And believe me when I say, Eric is an authority on boring. Something he probably majored in, in college.
