, Mexican actor Eugenio Derbez shares his most memorable life moments.
During the weekends, Derbez would go out with his whole family in a 1957 Cadillac convertible car. "I still have that Cadillac car," he says, adding, "It's the family car, it's the car that my parents [drove when they] met and married. It's still part of my life." His favorite home cooked meal is chicken stew, but since he became vegan, he doesn’t have a new favorite yet.
Derbez’s "chancleta moment" happened when he decided to play hide and seek alone in his house, making his mother panic because she couldn’t find him anywhere. “She called my grandmother, uncles and the police. Everybody arrived and about half an hour later I saw one of my aunts and I let her know where I was.”Mamá Campanita.
“As Latinos, we have fire in the blood -- that’s the great part about it. We connect, we’re loud, we scream, we laugh...we are not afraid to express our emotions,” he says.
