The X Factor: Celebrity star Megan McKenna has emotionally opened up about how suffering from body dysmorphia caused her to plump her lips until they were “sore”.
She said: “I used to look at myself and think they weren’t big, so every couple of months I’d go and get more and more to the point where my lips were sore. They were awful. The reality TV star has since had her fillers dissolved and said she feels “liberated” by her new look and lifestyle, which has seen her ditch her old look and lifestyle to focus on her singing career.
Despite her image overhaul, Megan insists she “doesn’t regret” appearing on reality TV shows including Ex On The Beach, Celebrity Big Brother and The Only Way Is Essex – where her rocky relationship and breakup with ex-boyfriend Pete Wicks played out. Looking back at some of her most explosive moments on the shows, Megan said: “I’ve had a few arguments on TV. But anybody who has an argument on TV is never going to come across well.
