has recently undergone vocal cord surgery for a previously diagnosed condition, a source close to the singer confirms to reported that after a hospitalization in October for tonsilitis, the singer was told she'd have to have surgery before year's end and following the procedure she's been told to stay silent for several weeks as part of the recovery process.
That means that the singer has to put off any plans to record new music or perform until early 2020, according to the magazine.
