On Nov. 7, the first son appeared on the show’s 5,000th episode alongside girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle to promote his new book, Triggered. But the interview soon turned explosive as Trump accused co-host Joy Behar of wearing blackface in the past and hit out at Whoopi Goldberg’s 2009 remarks about Roman Polanski’s rape scandal.
“I’m not naive, I’m not a little kid,” he said. “I know they’re going to bring up other stuff. I know they’re going to be rough. I know they’re going to be vicious, but if I say, ‘Hey, it’s OK, I’ll do three entire segments on the show,’ I don’t think it’s too much to ask to expect them to actually talk about the book once. To actually ask me a question about the book, just once.
“You know what? It doesn’t work too well with us. We will actually fight back, unlike a lot of the conservatives out there … You can only go so far before I’ve had enough.”“They were totally triggered,” he continued. “You could see they lost their minds.

Triggered is an understatement. Every time they tried to smear him, he called them out on their own hypocrisy.
