My daughter had an abortion for reasons like Clare's. She told me but wanted no-one else to know. I helped her through, and respected her silence. But I'm disturbed it's still a secret, taboo to discuss, instead of an openly acknowledged part of her life.

are you going to show the man's side to this very personal choice?

Very moving testimony...different times for sure but the emotions linger

Excellent interview given here. Very honest, frank discussion of the issues around abortion. Broadcasting at it's best.

The real silence is around allowing men equal parental opt-out,.

Wow - a superb programme today! This particular account was very moving; well done, ‘Clare’ for sharing your story. Xx

How do you think men who paid the Licence Fee feel? EnjoyYourPrivilege

Clare you are amazing. I’ve stopped my car to listen to you eloquently describe you extraordinary journey.

Thank you, Helen Mirren.

Despite perceptions that young men are majority cinemagoers, 52% now are actually female: & female-led films perform better pro rata: women

Lovely to hear Helen Mirren talking sense about crafts and skills being undervalued. Thank you! Great show.

comparing the amount paid between ian mckellen and helen mirren whilst completely ignoring the role of the agent and the weight of the role in the film/play imagining that the mega money (lets not forget) is centrally planned and not individually negotiated

janegarvey1 She’s told her she shoukd have kept her coat on as there is a hole in the roof and the room gets a bit chilly.

janegarvey1 Probably told her off for complaining about JHB being on fortunately?

janegarvey1 'They're thinking about starting a Men's Hour' EnjoyYourPrivilege

janegarvey1 Think she’s told her about her hand washing bra regime.

Yes, genetic testing tends to reveal it more often than it being revealed by the mother owning-up to being a lying, cheating, fraudulent ass-hole! A shocking one I should think! Both child and parent would need time to adjust to how they feel about this new situation and if they can continue as they always have. It’s really down to them as individuals.
