FILM producer Robert Evans, who was behind a string of classic Hollywood hits including the 'Godfather', has died aged 89.
Evans was a senior figure at Paramount Studios and produced 'Chinatown', 'Marathon Man' and 'Urban Cowboy' during the studio’s heyday in the 1970s.The former actor was married seven wives, including to actress Ali McGraw, and his autobiography, 'The Kid Stays in the Picture', inspired a documentary about his colourful life.
