The Times-Picayune/ The New Orleans Advocate reports Pitt and other foundation directors asked the court to remove them from the lawsuit, saying they weren't personally responsible for the construction.Two homeowners filed the suit. Their attorney, Ron Austin, says the homes built by the foundation in the Lower Ninth Ward have infrastructural issues and residents have reported being sick.

Hang on here...so someone lost their house, had nothing, a charity built them a house, and now they're suing the charity because of issues with the house? Unreal. I'm sure that'll encourage more people to build/donate things....
Somehow doesn’t seem right. Seems like they were trying to help and the contractor screwed them

it isn't right.. someone doing a good deed gets sued for helping.
So, I guess disaster areas should no longer be surprised when people with money refuse to assist them.
You can pretty much guarantee a BS suit like this will slow future assistance from the rich.
