Cork actress Sarah Greene turned down Harvey Weinstein's offer to appear in his films

An Irish actress has revealed she turned down Harvey Weinstein's offer to appear in his films because she "knew what he was like".

The disgraced former producer next contacted her by email telling her he was coming to see her perform in The Ferryman. She added that Weinstein did not make any inappropriate moves towards her during the dinner but she turned down the roles regardless. "I made sure I wasn't ever in any hotel rooms with him. I was older than he thought I was. There's no story to tell."
