Bishop Gerardo Alminaza of San Carlos said the country was dealing with a “real-life crisis” that the people should look more into.
According to the prelate, the country was under a “state of emergency” which demands concrete actions from the future shepherds of the Church. “We should really be in panic. We cannot just live as if its business as usual. We should always be on our toes, always trying to respond to the emergency situation,” said the head of the bishops’ Commission on Seminaries.
