Triller Set On 'Overtaking TikTok' With $28M Funding Round, 13M Monthly Users

Watch out, TikTok. AI-powered music video apphas announced a $28 million Series B funding round led by Hollywood production company Proxima Media -- all part of a plan for "overtaking" its China-based competitor, according to a press release.

The four-year-old startup, where users create and share short music videos using the app's library of music, also claims to have "grown 500 percent organically year-over-year," with 13 million active monthly users and 60 million total downloads.
