PETALING JAYA: DAP’s Ronnie Liu, who is under scrutiny for a statement deemed damaging to Pakatan Harapan , today asked if the same treatment would be given to Mohamed Azmin Ali after the PKR deputy president said Dr Mahathir Mohamad should be allowed to serve the full term as prime minister.
However, he questioned the lack of action against Azmin whom he said had openly defied the PH agreement for the prime minister’s post to be handed over to Anwar Ibrahim. Liu, a DAP central executive committee member, had cautioned Mahathir against making remarks that are out of line with PH’s values. The Sungai Pelek assemblyman also hit out at Mahathir over the continuation of laws which he called repressive, the decision not to deport controversial preacher Dr Zakir Naik back to India, and the failure to specify a date to hand over power to Anwar.
