A federal judge on Tuesday refused to dismiss Chicago's lawsuit against former"Empire" actor Jussie Smollett.
The motion by the former"Empire" actor's attorneys was a longshot because their argument boiled down to the contention that Smollett shouldn't be required to reimburse the police department because he couldn't have known how much time and money would be spent investigating his allegations. For days, detectives scoured the neighborhood for witnesses, analyzed dozens of videos from surveillance cameras on the street, on buildings and inside taxi cabs, and interviewed store owners in search of who might have sold the suspects the rope.
They should throw him in jail...he waged a lot of tax payers money and caused a lot of trouble.
Lawsuit is for $130k for wasting the Police Dept. time & resources. If he's got the money, I'll say just pay up.

That did make it hard on real hate crimes. I wish he would have not have done that. He didn't need to take it to this level to try and gain attention and higher pay.

A measly 100k and Juicy Smolle’ (that French actor) gets a free pass for lying to the police, disparaging at least 63 million Americans as racists (even though many aren’t even white) and causing a potentially dangerous societal problem. All because he hates Trump & wants $$$.
