Feeling somewhat deflated and lost, the band took a step back and really dove into the foundation of Anamanaguchi's identity. "We went to K-Mart [near Astor Place] and, if I remember the outfit correctly, we got jean shorts with a hammer loop, heather gray bass fishing shirts, identical, cut off the sleeves, American flag shutter shades," Berkman recalls."We showed up to the show, and these were like serious DJs.
