Diahann Carroll, Oscar-Nominated, Pioneering Actress, Dies at 84

Ms. Carroll’s daughter, Susan Kay, told The Associated Press her mother died Friday in Los Angeles of cancer.

One of my first loves , on TV .. was a young man when I first saw her ..

I recall watching this beautiful and talented woman in the television series Peter Gunn. She will be missed, but her roles and music will cause her to last forever in our eyes, ears, minds and hearts. May she rest in eternal peace.

She was a class act!
