Not everyone gets along in Hollywood -- especially on daytime talk shows and late night talk shows. Over the years, there have been so many public over the years. There have been several late night talk show host feuds and regular primetime TV host feuds as well. Basically, put any two people on screen together, and make them act like they're friends, and they very well may turn out not to be.
The most common host feuds seem to happen on daytime talk shows that have several celebs on at once. Those kinds of shows explore hot button issues, like politics, which can bring out the worst sides of people and lead to intense arguments. As for late night TV, many of the same comedians are up for the same limited hosting gigs , and that can understandably lead to tension. Over on primetime TV, the simple act of filming for hours at a time together can turn even friendly-at-first hosts into enemies after seasons and seasons of a show.
While some Hollywood feuds are only whispered about or only have anonymous sources commenting on them, many TV host feuds are out in the open. Perhaps because these people are so used to sharing their lives, thoughts, and opinions on TV already, they don't see the harm in talking publicly about their co-hosts either.
