London Fashion Week might have only just come to a close, but taking into consideration the shows over in New York too, we've seen enough catwalk exits to begin to spot trends that will go on to shape your new season wardrobe.
The big one to know about now? Sleeves! Big, bad and beautiful sleeves have trailed not only from evening dresses, but also classic button-up Oxford shirts, and even tracksuit jackets now come with added volume at the shoulder. Designers from Richard Quinn to Riccardo Tisci at Burberry, Marc Jacobs to Matty Bovan, have all shown sleeves that fall with flounce and flair, albeit while sticking to their respective brands' core aesthetics to interpret the trend.
The biggest? That honour goes to Emilia Wickstead, who added voluminous, billowing sleeves to a floor-skimming evening gown.'s favourite looks that prove sleeves are shaping up to be big news for spring/summer 2020...
