Damage to the top OPEC producer's oil facilities ignited fears of supply disruption around the world and has sent crude prices soaring.

The attacks on Saudi Aramco's oil plants were "extremely surgical," Samir Madani, co-founder of satellite tracking firm TankerTrackers.com, told CNBC.

The images, first obtained by the Associated Press, show that at least 19 strikes were launched and 17 actually hit targets. Damage to the top OPEC producer's oil facilities ignited fears of supply disruption around the world and has sent crude prices soaring by double digits. The drone attack Saturday on Saudi Arabia's Abqaiq plant and its Khurais oil field led to the interruption of an estimated 5.7 million barrels of the kingdom's crude oil production per day, equivalent to more than 5% of the world's daily supply."It's a bit alarming that these folks got through.
