Coronation Street veteran Sue Cleaver has revealed the terrifying nightmares she suffered while diagnosed with sepsis.
It affects over a quarter of a million people in the UK each year and sadly over 50,000 people each year in the UK lose their lives to sepsis. “And my feet were just blue and purple and I had goosebumps on my arms... I went home at lunchtime, I got into bed. She said: “My husband, who works on Corrie, was on a night shoot, rang me and he said to his colleagues ‘Something’s not right, I can’t hear what she’s saying as her teeth are chattering so much. I’m gonna drive home, just cover for me.’
“I was on bed rest for a couple of weeks [with] horrific nightmares… of being shot or having a noose around my neck and having to jump off a ravine. Following a recent holiday to convalesce, Sue will be back filming Coronation Street at the end of the month.
