Eddie Money dead: Two Tickets To Paradise singer dies aged 70 after cancer battle

The American singer, who found fame with hits in the 1970s and 80s like Two Tickets To Paradise and Take Me Home Tonight, died just weeks after revealing he had oesophageal cancer.In a statement, Eddie's family revealed he had died this week.

"I thought I was going in for a check-up and [the doctor] told me I have cancer," he says in the prophetic footage. "Am I gonna live a long time? Who knows, it's in God's hands. But you know what? I'll take every day I can get. Every day above ground is a good day.""Eddie has been diagnosed with Stage 4 esophageal cancer," she told the camera afterwards.
