When they start winning awards usually ends up being a boring movie.

seems theres an agenda to make comic book films both huge money spinners & credible award worthy films. Its yet more signs that the industry is in a sorry state when it comes to creativity. Joker is just a pastiche of several 70s/80s films from teh looks of it.
