The spreadsheet's existence and other newly released documents show how money was a major consideration in USC admissions.

A young man rides a bicycle on the campus of the University of Southern California.BOSTON — Officials at the University of Southern California maintained a spreadsheet that classified some applicants as"VIP" because their families made major donations to the school, were friends or had other connections.

Its existence and other newly released documents show how money was a major consideration in USC admissions, reinforcing a long-standing complaint that college admissions in the U.S. favor the wealthy and well-connected.Zangrillo, a developer in Miami, has pleaded not-guilty to mail fraud, wire fraud and money laundering charges.

In the spreadsheet, one"VIP" applicant was described as a "Galen Center donor," referring to the university's arena. Another description simply said "Dodgers," while several were listed as"potential donors." Another"VIP" student had the mysterious tag,"every code known to man.

"USC previously disclosed that like most private universities, we allow many departments, including athletics, to mark certain applicants with a so-called special interest tag," the statement said.

1. It’s corrupt and wrong. 2. Our facade of integrity is very thin. 3. Most would consider this brilliant marketing on USC’s part. 😄 4. Academia’s virtue signaling about income disparity is absolute hypocrisy.

Is anyone surprised?

So what do you think this is NEW its been going on since the beginning of time...pls

And Aunt Becky knew it, I’d bet
